In the Jade Palace of Nine Splendors, in the Imperial Chamber of Seven Treasures. Receiving heaven's mandate in its season, she holds the authority of governing yin and wielding yang. Her Tao is honored as embracing, vast, bright, and great; her virtue is stored in yielding compliance, beneficial and steadfast. Modeling herself on vast heaven, at the root she nurtures the beauty of the Kun origin; giving flowing form to all creatures, she brings them to completion with the benevolence of the mother's way. The sacred peaks and great rivers rely on her; mountains and streams depend on her. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy. Receiving heaven and modeling on its law: Empress Earth (Houtu), Imperial Earth Goddess.
