Inner Minister of Jade Clarity, chosen immortal of the Golden Gate. His transformation body is teacher of the Three Teachings; he holds the law and adjudicates the commands of the Five Thunders. Waking from the Yellow Millet Dream, he forgot the fame and rank of the world; with the brilliance of his precious sword, he sweeps away the demons of the human realm. Among the four modes of birth and the six paths, wherever there is an appeal he always extends aid; throughout the Three Realms and the ten directions, there is no prayer he does not answer. At the top of the Yellow Crane Tower he left sacred traces; within the Hall of Jade Clarity he refined cinnabar. His image is preserved on the cinnabar cliff; his immortal traces appear in the mysterious grotto. He spreads the incense fires of the gate of the law, a ladder and ferry for later generations. Great sage of great mercy, of great benevolence and great filial piety. Founder of the mountain and initiator of the teaching, Patriarch of Numinous Response. Supreme Minister of Heavenly Thunder, Perfected of Numinous Treasure. Divine Lord Fuyou, Chunyang, Who Expounds the Orthodox and Admonishes and Transforms; Heavenly Worthy Who Spreads the Wondrous Tao.
