Like a sweet spring moistening things, he transformed decay and restored spring. With golden bones and immortal bearing, he merged with the Tao upon receiving four words. At Weizhou he was transformed, sitting for ten years to attain perfection. The ink traces on the wall were not of the ordinary world; his bearing was rare as snowy bamboo and moonlit pine. At Sanjing were the records of many lives; in one moment his manifest transformations became renowned. Six years at Panxi, seven years at Longmen. His Taoist accomplishment complete, his name reached the ruler of the day; granted the elixir talisman, he held sway over the immortals. He discoursed on the mystery upon a rock and flew with a canopy through the air. The Yuan ruler repeatedly summoned him to ask about the Tao; he brought sweet rain on the appointed day to relieve the people. Early he exhausted the words of the Way of Changes; late he reached the secret of the immortals. He expounded the hexagram diagrams, and the supreme Tao was fully accomplished. The Serene Hermit of Clarity and Stillness probed the mystery, attaining the Tao. On the immortal road to Penglai, she alone holds fast through countless kalpas. Yuyang, True Lord Who Embodies the Mystery, of Vast Compassion and Universal Deliverance. Taigu, True Lord of Vast Peace, Penetrating the Mystery, and Utmost Wonder. Primordial Sovereign of Clarity and Stillness, Profound Truth, Mysterious Emptiness, and Compliant Transformation. The Heavenly Worthy of the Transformations of the Seven Perfected.
