With utmost sincerity I take refuge and pay homage!
The Golden Gate of purple gold, the Jade Capital of white jade. Dwelling within the realm of wondrous being, abiding above the heaven of mysterious truth. His merit complete and his Tao perfected, his wondrous form stands foremost among all the heavens. His heart broad and his body at ease, his compassionate light shines over the Three Realms. His station is exalted, highest beyond the highest; his Tao is wondrous, mystery upon mystery. True sage and master of the lineage, on whom heaven and humanity rely. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy, Holy Lord of the Vault of Heaven, the Jade Emperor, Great Heavenly Worthy.

Within the Kingdom of Radiant Majesty, amid the land of wondrous joy. The Holy Mother concentrated her spirit and dreamed in emptiness and nothingness; the Lord of the Tao bestowed the jade substance amid the indistinct. Compassionate, loving, gentle, and yielding, he did not covet the honored station of ten thousand chariots; patient under insult, benevolent and gentle, he did not shrink from cultivation through a hundred million kalpas. His merit is high beyond compare; his virtue is weighty beyond measure. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy, manifesting the body of immeasurable merit, the Jade Emperor, Great Heavenly Worthy.

Honored in the imperial station, high in the heavenly palace. He roams through all the White Jade Capitals and appears everywhere within the Golden Gates of the ten directions. Settled yet able to respond, he comes and goes freely without constraint; united yet able to divide, his transformations are perfectly unobstructed and unfathomable. He expounds the Tao of pure liberation and rescues those sunk in delusion, sorrow, and suffering. What is so of itself, beyond what consciousness can know. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy, manifesting the pure body of what is so of itself, the Jade Emperor, Great Heavenly Worthy.

Once an heir to a king, he labored to build up mysterious merit. More than three thousand kalpas of practice were to him as a single day; his rescue of hundreds of millions of living beings reached across the ten directions. Though his dharma body arose from the embryo of a womb, surely his holy form was transformed from the origin of the Tao. Indestructible and undying, profoundly absent and profoundly present. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy. Manifesting the spirit-bright, firm, and indestructible true emptiness, the supreme dharma body, the Jade Emperor, Great Heavenly Worthy.

In the Heaven of Pure Subtlety, in the Jade Capital of Grand Origin, knowing that the time had come, he raised the six supernatural powers and divided his dharma body to pervade the realms of the ten directions. Entering the boundless realm, he illumines all above in heaven and below on earth. Sending forth the great wondrous sound, he liberates the six paths and the four modes of birth. He displays the auspicious form of square light, making clear the excellent cause of his original deeds. So vast it can hardly be named, towering and supreme. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy, dividing his body in responsive transformation, the Jade Emperor, Heavenly Worthy Who Pardons Sins.

The true emptiness of the Northern Pole, honored in the station above which there is none higher. His original deeds were all ascetic practices hard to perform; this body is the pure body of the Tao. He renounced his kingdom and left home, giving away his wealth and treasures and sacrificing his flesh and blood. Rescuing those in the dark realms and those in the bright, he proclaimed right transformation and spread his divine merit. He taught bodhisattvas to awaken to the Great Vehicle, and realized golden immortality to enter the wondrous Tao. He is a compassionate father, truly a great man. Of great compassion and great vows, great sage of great mercy, the responsive body of the Jade Emperor, the Pure, So-of-Itself Awakened King Tathagata.
